- Beverage Preparation and Service:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in drink preparation, ensuring quality and presentation meet or exceed standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, providing recommendations, and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and adhere to responsible serving practices, including checking identification and preventing overconsumption.
- Customer Interaction and Engagement:
- Create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for guests, demonstrating a positive attitude and enthusiasm for the role.
- Build rapport with customers through attentive service, active listening, and personalized interactions, fostering repeat business and loyalty.
- Anticipate guest needs and preferences, proactively offering suggestions and accommodating special requests to enhance the overall experience.
- Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and diplomatically, striving to resolve conflicts and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Bar Operations and Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including equipment, glassware, utensils, and supplies, adhering to sanitation and safety standards at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed, including beverages, garnishes, and barware, to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on bar equipment, such as cleaning and sanitizing dispensers, taps, and cocktail shakers.
- Follow proper procedures for cash handling, including processing payments, issuing receipts, and reconciling cash drawers at the end of shifts.
- Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work collaboratively with other bar staff, servers, kitchen personnel, and management to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate orders, prioritize tasks, and maintain a cohesive work environment.
- Assist in training new bartenders and providing guidance on drink recipes, service standards, and best practices as needed.
- Should be in Bangalore.
- Previous experience as a bartender or relevant hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, drink recipes, and cocktail ingredients.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage with diverse clientele in a courteous and professional manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including active listening and conflict resolution skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic math skills for processing orders and handling transactions.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS certification) may be required.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
