Company Description Panchabhuta Retreat is an experiential nature retreat based in Kumta. We are located on a pristine end of Nirvana beach. We take pride in in the Food and Beverage we serve. Although we don\'t serve hundreds of customers, our coffee bar stands for authentic and original coffee seleceted from estates in Coorg and Chikmagalur. We have also indentified special ingredients from the Western Ghats which is used in the innovative mocktails and health drinks which have antioxidant properties. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Barista and Mixologist located in Kumta at PANCHABHUTA RETREAT Uttara Kannada. The Barista and Mixologist will be responsible for creating high-quality hot and cold beverages, including coffee and tea, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. They will be responsible for preparing and presenting drinks in a visually appealing manner while demonstrating excellent customer service skills. The role will require maintaining clean and sanitary work areas and machinery, adhering to safety and health regulations, and keeping inventory adequately stocked. Qualifications Excellent knowledge and understanding of coffee, tea, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Experience with espresso and other coffee preparation methods Experience with cocktail and mocktail preparation methods Excellent knowledge and understanding of health and safety regulations Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment(our guests come in spikes) Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work well in a team and take direction from others Ability to stand for long periods and move along the seaside cafe.
