• Apart from bar operation, ensuring HACCP standards, SOP\xe2\x80\x99s, cleaning and all bar related work will be taken care by Mixologist and supervise
• All special occasions and events will be taken care by and creating innovative cocktail, specials and recipes
• Represents BAA for external & internal bartending competitions and advises all related participation and acts as a mentor for all junior colleagues
• Tries new methods, equipment\xe2\x80\x99s required, new products and generates ideas for creativity
• Prepare all needs for larger groups and packages
• Keep bar records and files well updated
• Monitor temperature records, recipes and daily availabilities up to date
• Minimize and control breakage
• Be creative and innovative during low seasons and high seasons to utilize revenue by implementing beverages, cocktails and Mocktails
• To report any accident immediately, no matter how minor, to a manager
• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25 lbs
• Alcohol awareness and knowledge of responsible service
• Minimum of 2 year experience in the same position from a reputable restaurant and or 4 or 5 star hotel property
• You must be proactive, adaptable team player who enjoys taking initiative to drive for results
• Eager to learn & progress, responsible with the willingness to take ownership
• To ensure proper mixing, blending, of drinks
• Provide bar related trainings for the service staff
• Up-sell or promote all specials advertised in the outlet as well promoting slow moving items
• Responsible for all side duties described in the job task check list and to complete all side work prior to the opening and closing of the restaurant
• Develop and update cocktail menus in line with latest industry trends
• Conduct ongoing R&D work on beverage offerings
• Work closely with Bar Manager/Outlet Chef on creative and innovative promotions
• Follow outlet policies, purchasing procedures and service standards
• Proactively assist guests at all times
• Provides table and or counter service of alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages
• Knowledgeable on hygiene issues
• A creative ideas generation
• Minimum of two (2) years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a Head Bartender or Bartender in a large cruise ship or a combination of ship and large hotel/bar experience in these positions is required
• Knowledge of Lounge and Bar operations
• Effective time management, prioritization and organization skills, which will be evident when working under pressure and to deadlines
• Maintains high confidentiality in regards to guest privacy and any related Hotel matters
• Level 2 Court of Master strongly preferred
• Capable to conduct beverage inventories
• High awareness in maintaining 5 star standards
• Demonstrate the sales and marketing knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
• Demonstrates the understanding of government alcoholic beverage service regulations
• Create and develop graphic artwork for beverage programs for the general market and multi-cultural markets
• Creates innovative drink concepts for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Builds and maintains on-trend beverage concept library to support national brands
• Assists with new product development efforts, custom and branded, from concept to commercialization
• Responsible for creating gold standard and approving benchtop and scale-up samples prior to presentation to customer
• Have a passion and flair for cocktail making, extensive knowledge of the classics
• 2 years of experience as a mixologist in a hgh volume operations
• Previous experience as a bartender
• 5 or more years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a fine dining restaurant, hotel, or country club
• Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational individual
• Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English
• Assists with creative brainstorming and copy writing for beverage related concepts \xe2\x80\x93 to help merchandise concepts at store level
• Assists with new product development efforts, key shows and key account calls as needed
• Develops relationships with beverage equipment suppliers and partners
• Has a complete understanding of all applicable laws and regulations concerning service of alcoholic beverages
• Provides prompt, exceptional, courteous, friendly and timely service to guests and employees hat differentiates us from the competition
• Accurately places guest Food & Beverage orders, inspects orders for quality and accuracy, ensures correct plating and serves according to standard
• Ensures outlets meet all federal, state, city, county, corporate, hotel, and departmental standards, requirements, policies and regulations
• Responsible for cash banks and slot banks, proper procedures for handling comps, room charges, credit cards, officer\'s checks and coupons
• Completes and oversees set-up and clearing of the bar area
• Ensures the maintenance and adequate inventory of supplies as necessary to effectively perform job responsibilities, informs supervisors when supplies are low, prepares and submits purchase request as needed
• We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 1 year work experience in a hotel or large bar with good standards
• Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort
• Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
• Luxury Hotel Experience Preferred as a Senior Bartender
• Moroccan passport holder
• At least 5 years previous experience in a high volume bar environment
