Drive sales performance through implementation of sales and marketing initiatives; achieve targets in the B to B space.
Build and maintain effective relationship with key and potential clients, interacting with business partners and provide expert knowledge and support to ensure operational excellence and standard application of operating standards.
Monitor key accounts performance trends and determine appropriate actions to address any issues to optimize the business and deliver best-in-class customer service.
Act as a professional advisor and assume leadership role between VASPL and its customers to ensure that Company\xe2\x80\x99s corporate image is maintained and, in so doing, derive maximum value from existing business.
Participate in negotiations and become a key player in administering contractual agreements with clients in the region.
Provide the Company with marketing/sales intelligence related to own area of responsibility and help the Company performance.
Key player in budgeting and sales volume planning, tracking and reporting, compile relevant reports for management use.
Requirements
Tertiary degree especially in Agriculture or Business studies.
Extensive working experience in similar roles at sales management level in a highly competitive sales environment.
Excellent multiple stake holders & customer Relationship Management (CRM), with ability to establish adequate personal and professional relationships.
Excellent communication skills both written/spoken in English, high ability to influence.
Highly analytical and problem-solving ability
Ability to work under pressure, independently and in a team
Customer Service Oriented.
Proactive, initiative and creative and highly result oriented
Working knowledge of computer applications \xe2\x80\x93power point/excel/word
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. To establish sales opportunities through networking, building relationships, conducting outdoor activities. 2. Area Mapping, cold calling, prospecting. 3. Build corporate database and be responsible for lead generation and deal closure with necessary documentation. 4. Identify potential opportunities to accelerate business volume. 5. Develop and implement strategies for achieving sales goals. 6. Prepare periodic sales report. 7. Should be able to forecast sales in terms of numbers and revenue 8. Achieve sales targets through acquisition of new clients and growing business from existing clients. 9. Identify improvements or new requirements by remaining updated with on industry trends, competitor activities & offerings KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 1. Experience in selling, in the B to B space 2. Ability to make inroads into new corporate accounts and territories 3. Good command of Negotiation and Networking. CANDIDATE PROFILE 1. MBA in Marketing preferred along with Graduation from a reputed University/Institutes 2. 5-10 years of Corporate Sales experience. 3. Candidates with exposure and work experience in agriculture companies could be an added advantage. 4. Strong Communication skills (written & verbal), presentation skills, and client relationship management are a must for this position. 5.
