Role Summary/Purpose: The AVP, ServiceNow Asset Management Leader has the technical, and development responsibility of IT Asset Management within Synchrony\'s ServiceNow platform. The candidate will work with the VP, Service Assets & Configuration Management Leader (SACM) and a team of employees and contractors responsible for executing the technology development road map and driving continual service improvements. They will develop and implement enhancements to the ServiceNow platform in the Software Asset Management Professional (SAMP) module and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) module. Essential Responsibilities: Implement technical solutions for ServiceNow\'s IT Asset Management (ITAM) aligned to the IT Asset Management roadmap and goals of Synchrony Design, develop, code, test and implement enhanced functionality and automation for the SAMP and HAM module Act as a Subject Matter Expert on SAMP and HAM module Ensure data accuracy and accurate metrics calculations for Software License Compliance, End of Support (EOS) and track remediation activities Train Product Owners / Asset Managers on industry best practices, and SAMP module Provide oversight to the system controls for producing SW License Compliance positions, End of Support (EOS) product listings and data alignment between Assets and CMDB Configuration Items Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions for continual service improvements including use of Publisher Packs, and SaaS License Management functionality, and a VAR product catalog Maintain and enhance integrations with other key systems and tools such as auto-discovery, SCCM, JAMF, Purchase System, Tanium etc. Insure the data collection and workflow is updating SAMP and HAM correctly. Perform optimizations where needed Partner with the Software Procurement COE team responsible for license procurement, renewals, and SW License compliance Ensures all new software and hardware assets and CIs are added to the database and regular maintenance is being done throughout the Asset lifecycle Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree with 5 years experience working with Service Management tools in a technical capacity or in lieu of a degree, 7+ years experience working with Service Management tools in a technical capacity. Minimum of 3 years hands on experience working with HAM and SAMP module and Software License Management in general Certified ServiceNow System Administrator minimum 5 years Experience working with ServiceNow San Diego and Tokyo version Experience working in Agile / Iterative development Demonstrated experience improving the productivity and efficiency of Hardware asset management and Software License Management Hours of engagement 2:00 PM IST to 11:00 PM IST (preferably/Flexible 4:30 PM IST to 1:30PM IST) ITIL V3 Foundations certification required For Internal Applicants : Understand the criteria or mandatory skills required for the role, before applying.
