: Role Summary/Purpose: The AVP, ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management Leader has the technical, development and architectural accountability of Integrated Risk Management (IRM) within Synchrony\'s ServiceNow platform. The leader will guide the Integrated Risk Management ServiceNow implementation and ongoing enhancements. This role will focus on IRM and, as bandwidth allows, will expand to additional ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITAM, ITOM). The candidate will work with a team of employees and contractors responsible for executing the technology development road map and driving continual service improvements. The candidate will report into the VP, Service Assets & Configuration Management Leader (SACM). This position requires an individual that demonstrates leadership, business strategy, decision-making, and management skills. This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. Essential Responsibilities: Act as the Technology Product Owner for the ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management solution suite Provide subject matter expertise in IRM and other ServiceNow functionality Lead ServiceNow IRM implementation & oversee architectural design Facilitate project introduction, working sessions & status meetings, while creating and managing project timeline Document and maintain functional business requirements, process flows and business use cases Lead discussions and workshops to create a risk-aware culture through proper technology enablement of risk-related processes Configure and implement IRM related business processes into ServiceNow including Policy and Compliance Management and other Risk Management processes Collaborate with the engagement team to coordinate, plan and deliver ServiceNow IRM Enable and automate risk management processes (i.e., risk assessments, risk mitigation strategies, and risk register, etc.) Design and develop enhancements and help fix issues or defects which arise in the production environment Leverage the IRM suite to its full value Design / Develop additional ServiceNow Modules (ITSM, ITAM, ITOM) with a concentration on Configuration Management Design and architect solutions to automated processes Provide final quality assurance reviews of all deliverables Design and deliver end user training Identify system or process deficiencies and recommend solutions for continual service improvements Produce accurate reporting for senior management Take action to correct data or process insuring Risk Metrics remain in control Participate in inquiries, exams and surveillance verifying the processes, controls, and data quality Remain current on new developments in GRC technology implementation services capabilities and industry knowledge Agile: Participate in all aspects of the ServiceNow program and solution delivery utilizing SCRUM (Agile) Participate in Agile ceremonies including Scrum of Scrums, Backlog grooming, and Daily Stand Ups Write Agile stories (in Jira) providing requirements to the development team for coding keep Agile stories up to date daily Code / develop solutions or give guidance to the developer Participate in Functional and User Acceptance Testing coordinate testing of stakeholders and cross-process impacting teams Research ServiceNow solutions to benefit the ServiceNow implementation stay current on new releases and available functionality of ServiceNow Participate in system upgrades Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree with a minimum of 6 years working with Service Management tools in a technical capacity, or in lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years working with Service Management tools in a technical capacity Minimum of 6 years hands on experience working with ServiceNow Configuration Management Certified ServiceNow System Administrator with minimum 6 years of experience Hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow IRM and use cases including Policy and Compliance, Vulnerability Management, Audit, Risk and Vendor Risk Management Experience in the design, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow IRM solutions Strong understanding of compliance and risk management processes Experience working with ServiceNow Tokyo/ San Diego version Experience working in Agile / Iterative development Hours of engagement 2:00 PM IST to 11:00 PM IST (Flexible/ preferably 4:30 PM IST to 1:30PM IST) ITIL V3 Foundations certification required For Internal Applicants : Understand the criteria or mandatory skills required for the role, before applying. Level 9+ employees can apply Desired Characteristics: Thought leader who will take action without being directed An understanding of and implementation experience with a variety of GRC tools Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP-certified or SAP functional certifications Experience with other GRC technology solutions (such as Archer, MetricStream etc.) will be an added advantage Strong focus on process, quality and execution Strong project and process management skills, with the ability to work with multiple vendors, projects, and a wide range of tasks simultaneously Experience working the development life cycle including requirements gathering, development, training, UAT, pilot, launch and support transition Experience collaborating effectively with the technical support team and process leaders to develop solutions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience within the financial services, credit card or insurance industries Experience working with geographically distributed teams Excellent English, communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills Information Technology
