Drive the development of various tech tools, new features, functionalities as discovered through ideation, need analysis, brainstorming and feedback collected from various stakeholders, field teams, market scanning and competition analysis.
2. Collaborate extensively with the Learning & Development team to identify training needs, create innovative sales training programs and lead the rollout of execution in the field. Organize training workshops for managers and senior leaders in the hierarchy to uplift the capabilities and provide upskilling opportunities by working closely with industry leading coaches, trainers and mentors.
3. Work with the business planning team to create the annual operating plan. Monitor and control budgets, sensitize management and senior leaders on deviations to the plan and brainstorm to identify mitigation measures.
4. Lead execution of various Strategic Initiatives (SI) in the channel by working closely with the Innovation, Strategy, DataLabs and DigitalLabs teams.
5. Central execution support on region wise initiatives & interventions based on feedback from the field leadership.
6. SPOC from channel on various initiatives which are supported by cross-functional teams like DPPM, Business IT, L&D, Analytics, Marketing etc.
7. Head the analytics team for the channel - Manage data flows & reporting for various initiatives, projects and campaign. Monitor results, socialize information amongst stakeholders, support field teams with requisite inputs to ensure traction on initiatives. Rigorous analytics required to measure effectiveness of various initiatives and highlight areas of improvement.
8. Share updates on the progress of the projects with sales leadership, key stakeholders, executive team and senior management personnel.
The Successful Applicant
1. Owner of sales management process, to be driven through cutting edge tech tools and digital platforms. Identify gaps through primary research and insighting with stakeholders.
2. Own the development agenda of various tech tools- lead the scoping of various enhancements, participate in brainstorming meetings with project team, business IT, vendors etc. Conduct UAT and highlight gaps. Rollout the final solution to a large field team and monitor usage and adoption.
3. Owner of Sales Capability Development charter for the channel. Will be responsible for identifying training needs of front line sales teams, managers in the hierarchy and address them through rigorous training and upskilling programs.
4. Owner of business planning process - creation of annual operating plan, perform rigorous analysis to identify potential threats to achievement of the plan, cost optimization opportunities, creation and scaling of new business models.
5. Own all of the strategic projects to be executed in the channel. Drive the innovation agenda. Ideate on new business models, explore latest innovations in the Life Insurance industry and plan for their implementation in the channel.
6. Manage ideation, brainstorming, execution, monitoring and governance of end to end programs. Plan and closely collaborate with HO leadership, sales leadership, field teams and cross functional teams like L&D, IT, Project team etc. to continuously iterate and improve on throughput and delivery of the projects.
7. Own certain KPIs for governing sales management processes in the channel to drive business, field force engagement and retention.
8. Key custodian of all data & analytics in relation to the program
