Job Description



: Role Summary/Purpose: The Kanban Leader will be responsible for leading the delivery of Quality Engineering Center of Excellence (QE COE) initiatives within Technology & Operations. This role is responsible for
collaborating with Agile team members including the product owner, engineering teams, business stakeholders & ART leadership with the goal of leading innovative solutions to production as per Engineering prioritized initiatives. This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Anchor and effectively apply the Agile Manifesto, SAFe core values, Lean-Agile mindset and SAFe principles to lead multiple high-performing, cross-functional agile scrum/Kanban teams as the Kanban Leader
  • Well versed in all SAFe ceremonies: Daily Standups, Backlog maintenance and Grooming, Sprint Planning and Review, Release Planning, Demos & Retrospectives, Scrum-of- Scrums, Inspect and Adapt event, and PI Planning
  • Manage the Kanban Board(s) for the team and keep it up-to-date
  • Facilitator of the Kanban process with the team, stakeholders
  • Facilitator or PI Planning team breakout sessions
  • Removes impediments to progress and escalates as necessary
  • Defines and refines Agile and Quality Engineering metrics to understand team performance
  • Work with business teams to shape business requirements and provide ongoing communication through project execution
  • Ensures development stories, acceptance criteria, assumptions, and all related documentation are timely and complete, supporting development, testing, and user acceptance activities.
  • Assisting product and process owners to create roadmaps and their dissemination to the team(s), while leading, managing, tracking, and communicating the execution of the plans and ensure features are completed on time
  • Communicate and facilitate effectively across diverse audiences within and outside of the team (key stakeholders, executives)
  • Work with cross-functional teams (not limited to - architects, application engineers, UX designers, and outsourced vendors) to create a holistic roadmap and planning for product delivery
  • Keep teams focused on concrete priorities while reducing disruptions from outside influences and actively identify and remove waste and distractions
  • Work with Product Owners, UAT and QA teams to ensure that testing and feedback is completed in a timely manner and meeting the timelines
    • Lead in production support prioritization with key stakeholders and identify and pursue improvements
    • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in any discipline with minimum 7+ years of overall experience or in lieu of a degree, 9+ years of overall experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in managing, developing or implementing information technology systems/Projects
  • Experience in leading Agile Team(s) in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) that involve Cross functional team members
  • Must be CSM certified
  • Experience in People/Vendor management
  • Ability to build & maintain relationships & partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent knowledge on Agile methodologies and practices
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills. Should be able to communicate effectively to varied audiences changing style and format depending on stakeholder needs
  • Proven leadership and effective decision-making capabilities
  • Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution
  • Ability to monitor and manage critical path elements of consolidated projects & programs Contact Center Technology project management experience

Desired Characteristics:
  • SAFe Certified
  • Thorough understanding of Agile and Quality Engineering transformations from a manual QA approach to fully automated testing
  • Experience with enterprise QE initiatives, including Automated Regression buildout, Test Data, Metrics, BDD and RPA
  • Experience managing offshore resources, organizing and motivate large cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing projects in large banking and financial services companies
  • Strong business acumen and superior decision-making skills
  • Superior oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to manage expectations of the business, clients, team members, management and external groups
  • Strong cross-functional team player with the ability to work seamlessly across a matrix organization
  • Creativity, enthusiasm and energy with a strong customer "can do" attitude and result oriented
  • Hands on, self-motivated professional style with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple initiatives
  • Ability to understand technical requirements of projects and effectively manage resources, vendors and test efforts
  • Desire to work in an open, collaborative and fast-paced environment.
