Role Responsibilities Product Owner, Reference Data Management Own Reference Data Management system product BAU and be responsible for determining & prioritizing its features/functionalities Deep understanding of business process, data quality standards, industry best practice & user needs Be responsible for the delivery providing day-to-day support to the scrum team Data Quality Management and facilitate remediation activities Manage and coordinate with stakeholders to collect comments on pain points and the outcome of newly released capabilities Migration activities, management, communication, users training & support for new application rollout to stakeholders and users Adhoc support to project / initiatives Design Principles and Oversight Ensure key design principles are always upheld Alignment with RDM Business Architecture Process Driven & Aligned Solutions are scalable, reusable & complete Alignment to deliver the value and adoption for business Consideration around fixing legacy issues on applicable components Ensure all key established design principles are followed Identify all stakeholders Business Requirements Identify all stakeholders that need to be engaged and facilitate their involvement Identify and obtain any approvals that may be required such as Compliance, Op Risk, Process Owners, Data Owners, etc Strong knowledge on reference data product capabilities and limitations. Able to assess and apply product functionality to meet the Bank&rsquos reference data and data quality requirements. Participate in product enhancement projects and ensure the implementation within agreed timeline Ensure all onboarding and subscription requests adheres to Reference Data Management Guidelines Ensure functionality and test strategy requirements traceability through JIRA as per standards Ensure JIRA dashboard is created and maintained with minimal violations Invite stakeholders to all Sprint Reviews and provide UAT / Test results for Go Live approval Provide any monthly updates in status reports, upcoming activities, Risks/Issues etc. Review and approve User Stories & explain them to the delivery team Be part of daily &lsquostand up' meeting with ITO and address queries on RDM functionalities. Be able to explain each process / product functions and features Attend fortnightly Sprint Planning & Sprint Review sessions Conduct user training. Encourage user adoption of the reference data tools. Monitor usage and provide guidance to users on tool functionalities during initial phase of adoption. Review, approve reference DQ controls and highlight to the CDO management on risks / issues on the content Processes End to end process documentation, and rollout the Reference Data target operating model Ongoing maintenance of process documentation to align with Data Quality Management policy and standards and product enhancements Manage Business ownership activities in line with defined guiding principles Document relevant analysis artefacts as required for Business Ownership governance i.e BIA, SBIA, BC rating, Service Review, etc Understand various roadmaps defined by CDO management Act as an SME for applications in the purview of product management and support project teams Prioritize and sequence items in the backlog based on business value / ROI Co-ordinate with the Change Management team for successful completion and implementation of changes Report project status updates to senior management Represent the voice of business and be a champion of client centricity of the solution People and Talent Establish strong relationships and communication channels key stakeholders Ensure stakeholders queries are managed appropriately for any requests on RDM process/product aspects Excellent written, communication and presentation skills able to effectively engage, influence and manage senior business stakeholders Eye for detail and excellent problem solving and analytical skills, able to bring clarity and structure to areas of ambiguity Strong people leader skills and also individual contributor with proactive working style able to take initiative, identify opportunities and work with minimal management oversight Strong stakeholder management skills in handling wide ranging and senior stakeholders across segments/product areas Risk Management Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters Proactively highlight any process / product related risks to the management Governance Work closely with DQ Advisory and Design & Monitoring (2LoD) team to ensure that the Reference Data tool can support relevant guidelines issued as part of the Data Quality Management policy and standards Ensure Product / Process Operational Risk activities on the Reference Data Process is executed in a timely manner Ensure annual review on BCBS, FRBNY and RCSA are executed in a timely manner Promote an environment where compliance with internal control functions and the external regulatory framework is a central priority of the business Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct.
