Your role
Do you want to play a key role in transforming the way how Reference Data is managed across UBS?
We are a global team of reference data specialists who continually enhance the way reference data is managed at UBS. We do this by engaging closely with our clients, developing our people and harnessing new technology.

We’re looking for a Market Data Analyst within Reference Data Services (RDS) with industry experience in this area to:

• Manage market data spend - provide governance, oversight and management of all MDS spend
• Manage Market Data Demand - manage all demand/queries surrounding existing contracts
• Manage market data contracts throughout their lifecycle
• Manage Market Data Vendor compliance issues
• Manage market data projects to reduce spend and enhance processes related to contract obligations or cost
• Initiate and drive automation initiative
• Create and Manage the annual budget and forecast
• Execute the target market data strategy to be defined to support the RDS Cloud Strategy called Cumulus

Your team
You’ll be working in Reference Data Services which sits within our Chief Digital and Information Office (CDIO). You’ll be part of the Cumulus Acquisition Market Data organisation which is managing the strategy for sourcing and acquisition of external market data feeds at the enterprise level in conjunction with the Group Central Sourcing Market Data Team.
You will be part of Cumulus Acquisition Market Data team in Mumbai, reporting to the head of the RDS Market Data Team.
Your expertise

• Knowledge and familiarity with market data vendors such as Bloomberg, Reuters etc
• Ability to interpret contractual terms and conditions
• Proven capability operating in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
• Working independently and autonomously
• Ability to think creatively and logically to solve problems
• Structured and organised
• Strong verbal and organizational skills, adept at managing workload and working in a diverse global team
