Inviting applications for the role of AVP, Cloud Operations Architect

We are looking for candidates who have a passion for cloud with deep knowledge and experience of different cloud environments and their platform architecture, operations, maintenance, and support. This role will be part of the Tech Modernization Practice which helps clients optimize and transform their cloud platform and its operations. In realm of cloud platform and operations, the role will focus on defining compelling offers to clients, crafting differentiating IP (demo, thought leadership, accelerators), leading presales and building community of practice.

Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Operations Thought Leadership

\xc2\xb7 Have an in-depth understanding and experience on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, and private clouds), architecture, deployment, operations, cloud operating model, and ensuring desired scalability, resiliency, availability, security, compliance, and performance of cloud environments

\xc2\xb7 Have strong knowledge on how to optimize cloud platforms and operations using levers like Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), AIOPS, DevSecOps automations, GitOps automation, Environment-as-a-Service, FinOps and others.

\xc2\xb7 Has been viewed as a cloud operation thought leader by clients and internal stakeholders

\xc2\xb7 Experience in translating thought leadership in compelling offers and services, including differentiating IP.

2. Presales and Business Development

\xc2\xb7 Engage Genpact Tech Sellers, Growth Community (Account Execs) and Delivery Leaders in initiating and participating in client conversations to understand and discover client context, requirements and how Genpact can help optimize and transform their cloud platforms and operations

\xc2\xb7 Be lead solutions architect in pre-sales, crafting proposals in realm of cloud platform and operations.

3. Cloud Platform and Operations Architecture and Solutioning

\xc2\xb7 Lead a team of IT and domain experts to architect, design, and develop innovative solutions and services that transform how to optimize and transform cloud operations

\xc2\xb7 Ensure solutions align with best practices, standards, security, compliance, and non-functional requirements

\xc2\xb7 Lead in the architecture, design, evaluation, testing, and prototyping of the transformative enablers (i.e., in SRE, AIOPS, automation, FinOps)

4. Cloud Operations Guild Development

\xc2\xb7 Coach cloud operations architects and engineers in the skills needed to conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions so they can transfer deep technical skills and solutioning/architecting competency needed to help Genpact clients

\xc2\xb7 Work with guild to develop reusable IP, including frameworks, blogs, white papers, prototypes, and others that can be leveraged by other cloud operations practitioners

Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

\xc2\xb7 At least minimum years experience in infrastructure and operations

\xc2\xb7 At least relevant years experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), private and hybrid-cloud; architecting, security, deployment, and operations

\xc2\xb7 At least relevant years in pre-sales and/or practice capacity or role

\xc2\xb7 Hands-on experience in Infra-as-a-code automation and scripting using tools like PowerShell, Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, Chef or others

\xc2\xb7 Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and experience in automating CI/CD (DevSecOps) and GitOps pipelines and practices

\xc2\xb7 Cloud platform architecture certification with AWS, Azure or GCP

\xc2\xb7 Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

\xc2\xb7 Ability to handle multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously

\xc2\xb7 Ability to communicate with people of varying levels of technical ability; comfortable with CXO and CXO-1 levels

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; as well as build a team

\xc2\xb7 Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.
