Carry out System level FMEA ( knowledge on APIS tool is preferrable ) Carry out HW level FMEA ( knowledge on APIS tool is preferrable ) Perform FMEDA ( Preferably using with Exida s Silcal ) HW requirement for Safety scope in Doors/Excel HW design of the fault injection tool for safety validation (fault injection) HW/SW interface transcription in Doors (from draft in excel) with addition of the detailed verification criteria (test point reference, net name, expected result. ) Second source / Alternate Component selection using Silicon Expert tool output. HW characterization of second source / alternate components Knowledge of Automotive HW Design based on functional safety Standards such as ISO 26262; Involved in Safety relevant activities such as FMEA, verification and testing Perform electrical simulations using Automotive SPICE; Architectural Design and FuSa related activities Electrical CAD: Using Cadence suite(OrCAD CIS), Altium and Concept HDL Past experience of CAD Layout Reviews in Cadense Allegro Automotive HW Testing , Validation and characterization. Knowledge on CAN/LIN Tools, EMC, Multi-layer and complex PCB, PCBA, Best Hardware design Practices, High speed Board Design and Automotive Display Designs using TFT LCD. Knowledge on other interfaces like I2C, SPI, UART, RS485, USB, LVDS, MIPI CSI and DSI etc is desirable.
