Job Title: Automation Test Lead

• This role focuses primarily on delivering and maintaining robust, modular automation across UI, API, and integration levels.
• They work within product teams to strengthen coverage and reliability while contributing to continuous delivery maturity.
• They do not build or maintain the core framework (owned by SDETs or Architects) but are expected to understand its structure, extend it correctly, and uphold its standards.

Key Expectations:
Technical Skill:

• Writes maintainable, modular automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript. Understands test structure, abstraction, and data management.

Autonomy & Initiative

• Proactively identifies testing needs, gaps, or risks, and takes ownership of resolving them. Works with minimal supervision.

Quality Mindset

• Focuses on outcomes - delivering high-quality, reliable automation that accelerates delivery confidence.

Agile Engagement

• Actively contributes to Agile ceremonies, providing constructive input and maintaining strong communication with the team.

CI/CD & Tool Proficiency

• Confidently executes and analyses test runs in Azure DevOps pipelines. Uses Qase.io for test management and traceability.

Collaboration & Communication

• Engages constructively with developers, Product Owners, and QAs to ensure shared understanding of quality.

Learning & Growth

• Continuously develops automation and coding capability, staying current with frameworks and modern testing practices.

Experience :

• 8-10 Years
