Roles and Responsibility Job Summary The Test Lead role is responsible for an end to end testing activities, from the ground on designing the test cases based on the signed off FSD, preparing and setting up test data, performing manual testing for features implemented from sprint to sprint. Apart from manual, this role might also need to conduct automated testing to ensure the application package provided by vendor is working as per design and expected. Able to do scripting for automation testing using Genie Framework + Java scripting is a bonus. Capable to detect, analyse and have a basic investigation for the defects encountered/reported by using simple SQL query in database checking, grab the logs, check the configurations file etc would be essential to this role. He/she would also need to run performance testing if release applicable. Manage the testing end to end independently and also able to guide the team members achieve the same. A key role in Agile solution delivery, this role owns and manages the testing activities independently. Accountable and good working attitude are key attributes we are looking for in this role. Processes Able to adhere testing compliance process, capable to produce the relevant mandatory test artefacts. Risk Management Able to raise and highlight risk ahead in time. Governance Need to make sure the testing team in the same squad be able to follow SCB group testing compliance process and produce the accurate test deliverables. Regulatory & Business Conduct Design, write and maintain high quality test cases for testable working products in Excel/JIRA. Perform peer-to-peer test cases review. Create, develop and maintain automation test scripts for web-based applications and test data creation using Genie Framework and Java Scripts. Perform both manual execution and automation testing to ensure application implemented are working as expected based on requirements and specifications. In this role, would need to be able to run Performance testing if required for respective squad. Capture and produce all the test deliverables (i.e. test evidence, test strategy, test closure report) in an organized manner. Report and keep track potential issues/defects in detail using JIRA. Liaise with the team and stakeholders (Technical Lead, Delivery Lead, Product Owner, Business User, and other application teams) for any issues detected during testing phases. Support business/operation user for any issues reported during User Acceptance Test phase. Produce daily status reports during testing phases - SIT & RT. Adhere to UTM compliances and deliver Group&rsquos TestQA test deliverables. Capable to lead the team members to achieve and produce the same deliverables. Champion quality by forging influential relationships across Testing, Development, Business, Users, Product, DevOps and TestQA. Flexible in terms of task allocations and testing delivery. Key stakeholders Team - Scrum Master, Project Manager, Delivery Lead, Test Manager, Test Lead, Test Engineer, Business User, QA Team, etc. Our Ideal Candidate Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a Quality Software Testing role Strong understanding in software testing approach and testing methods. Multi-tasking, or capable to support at least 2 project testing at one time. Good level in using SQL queries for database checking. Critical thinking, Analysing skill, Problem-solving skills, Result-focused. Good personality and working attitude. Good team player and fast learner. Good time-management skills. Good communication skills. Certified by ISTQB (Foundation) is the basis. Must be able to communicate in English. Must have experiences in using Automation tools (i.e. Selenium) is the basis. Able to check and investigate the issues (configuration, SQL, log files, etc). Experienced in software development is a bonus. Experienced in programming language (Ruby, Java, Java Script, etc) is a bonus. Experienced in performance testing is a bonus.
