Key Responsibilities:

• Simulate user needs and actual usage scenarios from a user perspective
• Understand how all applications and systems will work together and develop an automation approach that fits the overall strategy.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand the product vision, and requirements and to provide support for better automation/test coverage.
• Responsible for developing and managing automation execution strategies and the creation of appropriate test artefacts with a focus on optimised testing coverage for every release.
• Oversee the development and timely execution of automation plans, monitoring and reporting on test execution and quality metrics as per release deadlines.
• Assist with developing and maintaining the current automation framework for Web and native mobile apps on Android & iOS platforms.
• Continuously evolve the automation best practices, test coverage, processes and tooling as required.
• Responsible for maximising the development and use of automation testing to improve testing efficiency, coverage and delivery continuously.
• Define monthly/quarterly targets for the automation team and provide KPIs & overall status to the stakeholders.

Qualifications
Skills and Educational / Qualification Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems
• You have 5+ years of experience in automation testing, setting up frameworks and strategies from scratch for end-to-end testing.
• Past experience working on agile methodology.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience developing automated tests using Javascript and Java, and OOP concepts.
• Experience with configuration languages and package managers (yaml, groovy, gradle, pip, brew, npm).
• Experience with mobile build tools, log extraction, and crash log literacy.
• Experience automating tests for native mobile applications: Android & iOS.
• Familiarity with mobile and web automation tools (Appium, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, UI Automator).
• Familiar with various tests (function/integration/regression/stress/API)
• Familiar with the test tool (Postman/Chrome console)
• Familiar with SQL syntax (MS SQL, MySQL) (plus) Familiar with Git/Jira/Jenkins/Linux would be a (plus)
