As a Sr QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing team and ensuring that our software applications meet the highest standards of quality and usability. Key Responsibilities Ability to adopt new technology and skills. Test Execution :Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and verify software functionality. Execute test cases and report issues using a bug-tracking system. Documentation : Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test data, and test reports. Ensure that all testing activities are well-documented for future reference. Continuous Improvement :Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance testing methodologies and techniques. Identify areas for optimization in the software development lifecycle. Bug Triage :Collaborate with developers and product managers to prioritize and triage reported issues. Verify fixes and ensure they meet quality standards. Compatibility Testing :Validate software compatibility across different platforms, browsers, and devices. Feedback :Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the user experience and software quality. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or a similar role. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in test management and bug-tracking tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software. Preferred Qualifications ISTQB or other relevant certifications. Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Technical Skills Computer proficiency, Bug Tracking tools, PMS (Jira/Asana/Trello), performance testing tools (Jmeter, LoadRunner), API testing, AGILE process.
