Team/Function Overview We are looking for askilled Senior Automation QA Engineer who will workwithin theMarkets Technology- BusinessRisk & Controls department across multiple businesses within our Institutional Clients Group Role / Position Overview This is a hands-on role developing automation tests across multiple backend and frontend components and ensuring overall quality of the platform and its integration with various internal and external systems . You will work with the other developers, business analysts and product managers as your key stakeholders to ensure we are meeting their requirements to develop and drive highly scalable product. You will also contribute to the team\'s strategy around automation testing and integration best practices . Key Responsibilities: Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet organizational needs Build and maintain automation framework for the data intensive software platform with multiple integration touchpoints Build, maintain and execute automation tests using functional and non-functional test tools Perform regular functional, regression and performance testing of the application owning the overall quality sign-off Analyse requirements, specification and decompose complex systems to generate automated acceptance, functional and end-to-end tests Act as the subject matter expert regarding software testing/automation for the engineering team and to external stakeholders Evaluate and perform POCs on new strategic technical products and applications within QA space Development Value: Opportunity to build modern technology solutions utilising best in class technical tools and frameworks You will gain significant knowledge of Business Risk & Controls platforms and products Skills & Qualifications: 12+ yrs of Significant professional experience building automated product tests for the complex applications and platforms, ideally using Java and React stack Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practices Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools Commercial exposure to Behaviour Driven Development and corresponding frameworks and tools Understanding of modern architecture and design patterns including Microservices and Even Driven design You have worked in the past with SQLNoSQL technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, Couchbase, Mongo DB, etc.), performing data discovery and validation You have experience working with Jira, Confluence and Zephyr You have experience working with data heavy project focused on data visualisation and analytics You have high development standards, especially for code quality, integration and E2E testing and continuous test integration You have an appetite for taking on challenges and leveraging new technologies You have experience working in fast paced development environments You agree that verbal and written communication skills are vital Qualifications: Competencies Experience deliveringsuccessful projects into productionthat can be maintained within strict operational margins Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictateand have experience working in fast paced development environments Ability to work autonomously Ability to interact with clients and deliver results, taking ideas to production Job Family Group: Technology Job Family: Technology Quality Time Type: Full time Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
