About the Role:

As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will help different product lanes in ensuring bug free product releases, defining the system and processes to identify bugs which will help in delivering error free Program/Software/Product.

You will work to bring out new initiatives to improve the product and processes and communicate with the product and engineering teams to bring about these improvements, maintain comprehensive -test documentation and bring in automation where possible.

What will you do:

- Prepare test cases based on product requirements.

- Partner with engineers to build and maintain tooling for test development, automation and release processes.

- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define acceptance criteria of softwareParticipate in requirements, design, review meetings and evaluate requirements testability

- Understand and analyze Business, Functional, Technical, Mobile applications and UI (User Interface) testing requirements, protocols and standards

- Maintain the test use case repository, library and use them effectively to improve software testing productivity

- Design and implement test automation practices in close collaboration with engineering and product.

- Build and/or grow our existing automation framework, developing new automation tests (functional, end-to-end, performance) and tools for our frontend, backend APIs and services.

- Mentor junior engineers both technically and culturally.

- Guide teams to improve code maintainability.

- Perform additional tasks assigned by the direct manager.

What are we looking for?

Must have:

- Length of experience: 5+ years of software engineering experience in QA and test automation , preferably with Product Companies

- Experience in working with Web, Mobile and API Testing in both Automation & Manual testing using Agile methodologies

- Expert skills: Experience with programming languages such as Java, C# and/or C++, ability to write scripts and small tools

- Proficiency with Selenium, XPath, Cucumber, PostmanGit knowledge

- Experience with Continuous Integration systems (Jenkins or other)Experience on Testcafe would be a plus

- Professional qualification: ISTQB certification (not mandatory)Language proficiency: English use preferable
