Role Responsibilities

Standards & Procedures

  • Provide inputs for Global Reconciliation Policies/ Procedures/ Standards.
  • Advise Products on Standard Lifespan.
  • Advise Countries on Lifespan standard (not in standard) for new accounts.
  • Perform Reviews to ensure the reconciliation processes across GRU & In-Country units are in line with global standards.
  • Review & Support Dispensation for exceptions.
Global Governance
  • Extend recon governance to in-country reconciliation.
  • Work with Finance & Product BRMs to roll out reconciliation & substantiation framework.
Risk Assessment & Reporting
  • Monitor the CST results for both GRU & In-country reconciliation (if any).
  • Initiate Quarterly Self-Attestation questionnaires to countries for the residual recons (in case CST checks are not applicable due to volume).
  • Review & track the exceptions identified as part of the CST or Self-Attestation.
  • Challenge risk rating.
  • Advise on suggested solutions.
  • Table the exceptions in the respective NFRCs and track for closure.
  • Perform dipstick checks on the reporting done by in-country.
  • Flag off the ageing items without clear remediation plans.
Thematic Review
  • Publish Timetable & TOR for the Periodic & Thematic review.
  • Initiate the Reviews in consultation with Product R&C head.
  • The result of the reviews and exceptions will be advised to CJOs for tabling in respective NFRCs.
