S&P Global Commodity Insights The Team: This role sits in the S&P Global CI Pricing & Packaging, Commercial Strategy group and reports into Associate Director, Pricing and Packaging. The selected candidate will play key role in working across various stakeholder groups such as Product, Commercial and Finance to manage CI packaging, support Sales teams through deal creation workflows, contribute to Product and Commercial strategy and inculcate a strong problem-solving attitude and mindset. The Impact: The candidate will play a very key and visible role in CI commercial strategy to work with multiple stakeholder groups and contribute to the planning and execution of pricing and packaging initiatives What\'s in it for you: Develop strong experience in pricing and packaging methodologies. Build domain expertise in commodity markets and products such as Energy Transition, Agribusiness, Chemicals, Oil etc. Learn, understand and contribute to the organization\'s product and commercial strategy that directly impacts company performance. Responsibilities: Grasp and maintain full command over the pricing calculator and being able to train and support sales colleagues through various stages of the deal creation workflows. Have a firm grasp of Commodity Insights\' packaging strategy and contributing to product and commercial strategy by managing product and package alignments and mappings, and partnering with Product and Commercial colleagues to create collaterals to articulate the value of CI product packaging, and train teams across Commercial organization as needed. Having a problem-solving mindset and collaborating with Operational teams to provide strong day-to-day administrative and intellectual support to Commercial organization. Deploy data analytics and visualization skills to create and manage pricing analytics and insights reports and unlock value for senior leadership. What We\'re Looking For: University degree in Science, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics or equivalent 3-5 years of proven experience in business and data analysis Strong relationship building and communication skills to work with various stakeholder groups such as Commercial, Product and Technology on a day-to-day basis Proficient in SQ, with experience in Tableau and Alteryx Intermediate to advanced Excel skill - VBA and Macro, and strong PowerPoint skills Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and CRM system such as SFDC are preferred The ability to mine, analyze, model, and interpret multiple large data sets to help derive meaningful insights and validate hypotheses A high level of mathematical ability and problem-solving skills The ability to plan work and meet deadlines Accuracy and attention to detail At S&P Global Platts, we provide the insights you make better informed trading and business decisions with confidence.
