Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business the following provides an overview of the role's key responsibilities and measures: .Measure the value delivered by Product Induction and the outcomes and measures that needs to. be worked on to improve. .Assess new product opportunities (gather ideas research analyse refine and prioritise new requirements) .Run/execute experiments against the defined hypotheses to help in gathering enough data to drive key decisions .Formulate and present the future plans/roadmap for my Product area .Build and maintain a 'well refined' product backlog including features bug-fixes and technical debt and stack rank those in terms of the business priorities .Document and explain new requirements to the engineering team using user stories personas and acceptance test criteria .Prioritise and execute the development of requirements/features by working with various functional teams like Design Development/Engineering Test Programme Management etc. .Handle and communicate product issues arising out of run/customer support .Plan and self-organize my work in line with the team plan and priorities .Ensure all stakeholders have a common/ shared understanding of the work being done and the value that is expected from of the outcome Key Skills and Experience You'll need to have demonstrated experience of: .Interest and enthusiasm for Tesco and for the product management role .A theoretical knowledge of Product management .Understanding of a typical Software Development Lifecycle and how software products are built .Prior experience in developing/managing a product (optional) Qualifications . Product management best practice & methodologies . Proven success of having managed a complex product that led to the delivery of significant value to your stakeholders .
