Overview

The US Finance Operations function is responsible for operations and accounting aspects of the US Gross-to-Net (G2N) operations. This includes pricing our products in the system, overseeing accounting and controls for rebates, administering payments to customers, executing SOx Controls, timely accounting of financials, regular internal and external audit related activities, assisting in customer dispute resolution and overseeing accounts receivables.

The IAC team will form an extension of the US Finance Operations team and will be responsible for ensuring that pricing and rebates are created or maintained in Vistex in a timely manner, without compromising quality. In addition, the IAC team will be responsible for supporting the US Pricing and Rebates Analysts, tracking accruals and settlements, and generally, support the pricing and rebates process for the US affiliate. This may include developing manual tracking mechanisms, reporting or other solutions later.

The IAC G2N Analyst will perform various direct and indirect pricing functions, which primarily involves the creation and maintenance of list prices, discounts, and indirect pricing, employing the Gross-to-Net application (Vistex), within the ERP system (SAP). The IAC G2N Analyst will be a custodian of pricing data governance and will be responsible for ensuring that pricing creation and maintenance is executed in line with internal and SOx controls. The IAC G2N Analyst will work closely with US Commercial business partners, to understand the US affiliate's pricing strategy, and conceptualize pricing methodology to meet the needs of the business.

The IAC G2N Analyst will also support the US Pricing Analyst by maintaining Contract Pricing and performing Contract Pricing settlements and reconciliations.

Additional responsibilities will include troubleshooting incorrect pricing, participation in Bayer Animal Health integration activities, and G2N optimization and/or transformation projects.

Successful candidates will have an accounting/finance background or experience, experience performing pricing in SAP, a good understanding of pricing concepts, strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
• CPA, MBA and/or professional expertise in Accounting/Finance preferred
• Minimum 3 years of finance and accounting experience, with at least 2 years in Pricing function
• Ability to effectively prioritize and complete key tasks and deliverables
• Ability to respond flexibly to business partner or stakeholder's needs, effectively managing expectations
• Proficiency in English is mandatory

Additional Skills/Preferences

• Experience implementing pricing in an ERP system
• Experience defining pricing methodology using Customer Groups, Pricing Groups, Price List Types, etc.
• Experience in pricing function in pharmaceutical industry
• Understanding of SOX/internal controls related to pricing
• Knowledge of customer master data setup in SAP, including customer/product hierarchies
• Advanced Excel skills for data comparisons, analysis and report compilation
• Ability to proactively & effectively, identify and resolve process and technology problems
