What We\'ll Bring: The Application Support Lead will lead and provide high quality operational and technical support to TransUnion\'s customers and internal business functions. The Application Support team serves as the custodian of business environments, ensuring the availability, stability, and dependability of TransUnion\'s business applications. This position is for Mumbai location. What You\'ll Bring: Primary Responsibilities: Support the application systems and the technologies associated with the daily operations in a timely manner to manage risk and ensure a reliable and scalable production environment. Troubleshoot and provide timely resolution of systems issues regarding technical analysis, application setup and configuration, application usage, queries, and reporting. Check the status on aged tickets and initiating correspondences for that. See the possibilities for reducing the transfer/escalation rate of tickets to next level. Develop process improvements to support systems in a 24x7 environment effectively and using the tools efficiently. Establish SLAs for response and resolution time for issues and manage the team to meet the established targets. Plan and manage resource availability and utilization to provide adequate production support coverage. Provide application support readiness for changes to the production environment to ensure all changes and processes are properly understood and documented Responsible for the service delivery of team. Report Monthly Metrics. Impact You\'ll Make: Position Requirements: 5-7 years of experience in supporting a portfolio of complex business critical application systems 2+ years of experience managing production application support teams in a 24x7 computing environment. Excellent logical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and e-mail communication skills Excellent understanding of ITIL Processes like incident, problem, change and configuration management. ITIL foundation certification preferred. Working knowledge of Linux. Knowledge of Shell Scripting is an added advantage. Previous experience with batch process monitoring, scheduling, tracking, and troubleshooting is an added advantage.
