Who You\'ll Work With You\'ll work in one of our India offices as part of our Global Energy & Materials (GEM) group. This group works across practices within the oil & gas or metals & mining or electric power / natural gas or chemicals and agriculture industries. The mission of this practice is to deliver holistic impact to our clients as their high-level thought partner. You will collaborate with colleagues to help leading organizations solve their most complex problems. Your role as an associate will be to help clients in both consumer and business-to-business environments on a wide variety of topics.What You\'ll Do You\'ll work in teams of typically 3 - 5 consultants, playing an active role in all aspects of client engagement. This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations. You\'ll present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members. Additionally, you\'ll receive guidance and support from your local office or practice in the selection of client projects, helping you to develop your skills and build your network.Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree with a consistently outstanding academic record advanced degree or MBA is preferred 5+ years of relevant experience in the oil & gas or metals & mining or electric power / natural gas or chemicals and agriculture industries Deep expertise in the industries, as well as solid functional knowledge, including but not limited to strategy, business development, manufacturing, supply chain, project management, marketing and sales, etc. Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project Highly analytical Exceptional quantitative problem-solving skills Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and local office language(s)
