The Opportunity:
Strategic Account Sales Director is a new role at ApplyBoard. This senior leader will work with existing and new key accounts of ApplyBoard in driving integrated partnerships with traditional and non-traditional companies in the study abroad business. The leader will be expected to own these accounts: from partnership development, go-to-market strategy, to execution. The idea is to develop new lines of business for ApplyBoard and at a significant scale. The role also includes identifying opportunities with non-partner companies and signing them up. The initial team size will be small but can grown depending on business partnerships and revenue outcomes.

Location: Any major Indian city (Remote)

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing :

Managing existing strategic partnerships to deliver high-growth business outcomes

Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to close, for strategic accounts

Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that demonstrate the value of our products and services to strategic accounts

Negotiate contracts and pricing with strategic accounts

Track and report on sales performance against targets, and provide regular updates to senior management

Work closely with cross-functional teams (including product, marketing, and customer success) to ensure that strategic accounts are receiving the best possible service and supportIdentify opportunities to expand our business with strategic accounts through cross-selling and upselling

Collaborate with other members of the sales team to share best practices and improve overall performance

Track and report on sales performance against targets, and provide regular updates to senior management

Establishing efficient communication channels and liaising between key clients and internal departments

Staying updated with competition and macro market conditions

What you bring to the table:

Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, marketing, or a related field

10+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of managing strategic accounts and exceeding sales targets

Experience selling complex solutions to enterprise-level customers

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Strong negotiation skills

Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively

Willingness to travel as needed
