20 process domains, 20 asset types, 300 control requirements ? applicable to 3000 applications ? and 1000s of other infrastructure and technology assets! All of this would be in your remit as the Policy Framework, Associate Director for us here at Novartis.

We are on a mission to reimagine medicine through data, digital and AI. This requires coordination and delivery of complex information security, management and compliance requirements. Our new Policy Framework Associate Director needs to be comfortable navigating this world, driving simplicity, consensus and alignment, and leading the development of our information management framework to creatively address evolving threats and the management of new information and technology assets.

Your responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

• Lead the evolution and implementation of the Information Management Framework to support new asset types such as enterprise data, SaMD, AI, technology ecosystems, SaaS.

• Design, implement and optimize information management controls in alignment with corresponding process owners and governance stakeholders.

• Effectively manage stakeholders from IT, Quality, Privacy, Legal and different business functions.

• Provide information security governance and risk management support across the organization.

• Analyze the risk impact on important data assets and applying risk mitigation measures.

Minimum requirements
What you will bring to the role:

• Post-grad degree in science, technology or business. Project Management and information security qualifications desirable.

• 8+ years professional experience in Information Security, IT Quality and/or Compliance

• Experience collaborating across boundaries with cross cultural experience.

• Solid experience with IT Relationship Management, Quality Management and Regulatory Compliance.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver on projects whilst navigating the complexity of a global and matrixed environment. Experience operating in a highly regulated environment.

• High level of maturity of controls in project management and operations and ability to communicate status reports with stakeholders at all level of the business.

• A creative thinker who can take an enterprise-wide view and articulate business proposals and solutions clearly through documentation and writing ability.
