Role: Associate Director, Data Stewardship & Management

Location: Gurugram. Hyderabad, Islamabad, Ahmedabad, Noida
The Team:
Entity Management - We integrate, maintain, and manage Cross Reference Identifiers at Entity level and de-dupe entities to support collection across MI-FS and S&P Divsion while also supporting Risk Management Product Framework. The Team builds on and provides an integrated view of Entities and their relationships. The Team provides structural and content support for standardized coexistence of 3rd Party data alongside in-house S&P GMI Data, certain Corporate Services (MDM) and products like GICRS \xe2\x84\xa2, BECRS \xe2\x84\xa2, Xpressfeed\xe2\x84\xa2 , MI and many other products and offerings etc.
The Role
Associate Director, Data Stewardship & Management in Entity management is a highly motivated individual with the ability to drive content projects through software development life-cycle, ensuring technical solutions are sound and aligned to data and product requirement and aligned with Data Management office strategy and goals. He / She are responsible for the day-to-day management of content projects, team through all stages of the process. The Associate Director, Data Management is a professional who can anticipate and resolve any problems, bottlenecks, or scheduling conflicts. The candidate is a sound communicator who can link content operations, technology, business units, leadership to ensure high levels of quality and timelines of projects\' implementations.

  • Data is sourced from approx. ~1k Sources/Vendors and hence it becomes imperative to collect, analyze and ingest data within communicated SLAs and with best of quality.
  • Data ingested via different workflows has direct impact on downstream collection process and front-end information being utilized by Clients in decision making.
  • Products like MI, CapitalIQ, Xpressfeed and BECRS are fed by data ingested by researchers and hence very critical to maintain the robustness in cross-referencing data in and across the platforms
Position Overview
  • The candidate will join the Entity Management group in the Reference Data Stewards team. The individual\'s Key responsibilities includes but are not limited to:
  • Understand the working of the complex dataset, processes, workflow, and pipelines developed for Entity Management domain and must be able to execute project using the latest knowhow of Reference Data existing pipelines
  • Should be able to recommend improvements in strategy & processes and should be able to collaborate with senior stakeholders and executing and communicating the strategy
  • Take responsibility of multiple project/initiative and provide solution based on Reference data existing workflow, processes, databases
  • The candidate is expected to liaise heavily with other content, Product Stakeholders, technology, automation specialists, data operations teams and customers
  • Ideate and execute Process improvement and Automation project
  • Brainstorm and implement ideas on minimizing operative ineffectiveness tactically and strategically using data science
  • Understand existing content group dynamic and think progressively on innovating ideas that improves scalability and maintenance
  • Adapt to new process and technologies based on project requirements
  • Lead a team of stewards and manage their work and professional goals.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Graduate or Post Graduate Degree preferably in Engineering/Math/Finance/Computers
  • 8-10 Years of Experience
  • Must have strong experience on Agile / SaFe methodologies
  • Strong project management skills required with at least 4-5 years of experience
  • Hands on experience in developing and executing SQL Queries is a must
  • Working knowledge of Databricks, snowflake, API, Microservices is desirable
  • Candidate having concepts of Data Science and knowledge on Python is desirable
  • Good Written and Verbal Communication is must
  • People management capabilities are desired
  • Analytical mindset and strong in logical reasoning
  • An inquisitive and investigative nature.
  • A Positive attitude, strong interest in research, flair for writing and an eye for detail.
  • Comfortable to work in rotational shifts, night shift and flexible hours
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in SQL, Data Science
  • PMP Certification
  • SaFe/Agile Certification
