The Career Opportunity: The position plays a key role at S&P Global Market Intelligence. The Associate Director role offers exposure to all groups and opens doors for tremendous career opportunities within S&P Global divisions. In the role, you will manage developing and delivering on business priorities. You will also manage interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to ensure what we build drives real client.

What\'s in it for you: You will support Data Management / Operations, focused on driving strategy and data initiatives and their deliverables for the domain unit. As a member of Data Management / Operations, you will work to develop, implement, and champion initiatives involving data definition, workflow planning, data collection with quality standards clearance and technology capabilities critical for our Products and Customers. You will be a key participant in designing and developing future state capabilities and a clear roadmap aligned to the overall company functional strategy, deliver impact across the lifecycle of data including identifying client data needs, sourcing and/or partnering with third-party data and capabilities, driving efficiencies with data delivery, supporting product/platform derived data initiatives, and driving revenue growth, in partnership with the business line aligned with.

Key Roles & Responsibilities: - \xc2\xb7 Ensure deep understanding of client use-cases, workflows and associated products and support the rapid response and resolution of client concerns, inquiries, and commercial conversations. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate closely with operations and other data management teams to define specific data, quality, timeliness, and comprehensiveness needs, as well as associated data policies and procedures. \xc2\xb7 Promote active communication at all levels within the organization on the health of projects sponsored by the data organization or involving data in support of domain projects, including key progress updates to all stakeholders to ensure transparency, especially around risks, content quality gaps and successes. \xc2\xb7 Foster a people-first environment, while supporting existing levels of engagement.

  • Meaningful experience, bold & accomplished decision-making, and the ability to improve the individual and team results
  • Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple projects at the same time, should be flexible with working hours.
  • Strong organizational management, business case development, and able to work across business teams to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to support major initiatives including development and executing to complete expected delivery.
  • Strong written and verbal communications with an aptitude to articulate / present thoughts and ideas to leadership clearly.
  • Appropriate presentation skills with the ability to take on internal and external presentation responsibilities.
  • Prominent level ability in MS Excel and its desired that candidate has SQL & database concepts experience / knowledge.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across and within teams.
  • Expected to manage large sets of cross domain teams ranging in size from 65 to 180 employees.
  • Expected to have regular connects with directs and manager to assess progress against goals assigned.
