Job Description

A specialist in connected objects, an IoT engineer develops innovative services that help users to receive, control and manage information.
In-charge of developing and managing a vast array of IoT devices, platforms, software, hardware and systems through a combination of data, technology and research.
As a software Architect(Cloud / IoT) responsible for defining software Architecture and design for Gateway / Cloud / IoT applications spanning across multiple projects / programs
Complete ownership and accountable for architecture of the projects/program
Analyze the requirements and come up with appropriate design and evaluate design alternatives.
Write architectural specifications, high level design documents covering functional and non-functional requirements
Collaborate closely with development teams on requirements spanning multiple applications / across platforms.
Well versed with Micro services architecture
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior Architects/Technical leads
Collaborate with other Architects across locations
Primary Skills
Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform including Infrastructure and Security related services such as Azure AD, IaaS, Containers, Storage, Networking and Azure Security.
IoT engineer develops innovative services that help users to receive, control and manage information.
Connecting to Edge devices, offline, online, SDK
Hands on experience in migrating large scale complex enterprise applications to Azure Cloud and design operations processes.
Ability to Design and implement high availability and Disaster recovery solution with ARM and Terraform.
Knowledge on MSSQL, MySQL and NoSQL DBs such as DynamoDB.
Solid understanding of networking and core internet protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and routing in distributed networks.
Understanding of Hybrid solutions, cloud migration techniques and experience of integrating public cloud into tradition hosting/delivery models.
Strong understanding of different attributes for cloud application availability scalability and ability to propose optimized design for cloud
Knowledge in various industry standard tools related to CI CD, Containerization, Configuration Management, Cloud Automation, such as Git, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Terraform Docker, AKS, Kubernetes.
Experience in configuring monitoring different attributes and handling scale up and scale down scenarios for the application in Azure
