Position Overview:

Boeing India Corporate Communications team is currently looking for Associate - Communications and Branding Specialist to join their team in Bangalore, India

The primary role of the Specialist, BIETC communications, would be to develop and manage BIETC\xe2\x80\x99s internal and external communication strategy, to position Boeing as preferred employer brand, with a strong employee value proposition that offers a great place to work. The candidate must have the ability to work with business leaders and functional teams to prepare and execute engaging internal communications, able to create compelling stories, content, ideas, and assets across multiple internal and digital/social media formats.

Position Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Develop, execute, and run the annual internal communications plan and milestone calendar for BIETC that aligns with business and enterprise objectives, while maintaining company messaging, style, and tone.

Draft email communication and key company messages, talking points, speeches and blogs/social media posts for leaders and senior executives; draft features and stories for the intranet, local and global internal newsletters, and FAQs for market campaigns and projects.

Must have a knack to turn complex technical content into easy-to-read content formats and stories. Must be adept at editing documents and drafts with precision and speed.

Advise multiple business stakeholders to help strategize communications activities to drive internal and external visibility for business priorities, partner with business representatives to support industry-level partnerships, and devise strategies and communication plans for brand positioning in relevant external platforms.

Learn and operate internal measurement and interactive internal tools effectively, and continuously explore new tools that help enhance processes. Must have the ability to manage intranet sites with a strong governance model.

Work with a global mindset that is aware of and sensitive to geographic and cultural differences.

Be a proactive team player who is able to absorb and work with concepts and business content with minimal direction to create dynamic and engaging communications plans.

Be agile, collaborative, transparent, and demonstrate positive intent across the team and among internal stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor\'s Degree or Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related fields.

5-8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working in a corporate communications department. Work experience with a global PR agency as well as corporate communications will be an added asset.

Excellent writing skills, with an ability to draft content across multiple, consumable formats is an important criterion. Candidate with knowledge of AP Style Guide for writing is preferable.

Proficient in social media and internal communication tools.

Experience with InDesign and Photoshop, web-based applications and possibly graphic design.

Proficiency with Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; ability to plan, and execute resourcefully.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Work experience with a global PR agency as well as corporate communications will be an added asset.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree Bachelor\'s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related fields) and typically 6+ years\' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree + 5 years\' related work experience.)
