About the Team

The revenue sell-side or category demand management team shapes demand at a category level across customers, visibility, and pricing levers. It manages day-to-day activities with close interaction with category buy-side teams. This team is a key driver for achieving platform revenue and growth while scaling the respective category\'s revenue by targeting a specific profitability for the category.

Roles & Responsibilities

Role:

This role involves managing demand generation, starting from driving traffic for the category through various on and off platform touchpoints, to taking actions to drive conversions. The role also involves enabling data-backed decision-making on growth hacks and building on strategic bets from a medium to long-term perspective for categories by working with stakeholders across product, category, and brand marketing for respective businesses. This role involves working with the leadership team to define the future strategy for the categories.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving the revenue and growth for the categories - by enabling data backed decision making for growing the brands on the platform, increasing customer acquisition and retention for the categories
  • Responsible for closing & aligning traffic targets for the month across various touchpoints and driving these targets with respective stakeholders.
  • Develop a sharp understanding of the category, its customer cohorts, their drivers and barriers to purchase online. Use consumer insights to initiate and drive new projects to scale the business.
  • Generate and analyze consumer, shopper, retailer and competition insights related to category/brand with actionable recommendations
  • Set up various experiments on and off platform to drive growth for the business and widen the top of the funnel.
  • Work closely with product & tech teams to optimize the sales funnel.
Qualifications & Experience

1-3 years of total experience; 1+ years of experience in e-commerce/high growth startup/ analytics fields will be an added advantage.
  • Must manage multiple senior stakeholders independently.
  • High competency in written and verbal communication skills (preparation of business documentation, presenting to senior stakeholders a must)
  • Able to innovate on demand initiatives with category & industry first initiatives.
  • Able to work with others in a fast-paced, team environment and to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Results oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, can work individually with minimal or no supervision.
