President - Packaged Foods Where do you come in as Vice President - Marketing, Mainstream Salts Associate Director - Marketing, Mainstream Salt This job is at N-3 level (N corresponds to CEO\'s level) Top dimensions : Geography : India Direct reports: 1 (Brand executive) Complexity of the role (Optional) : Lead the Core foods brand (Tata Salt) + Build range extension tata salt Immuno - as the next big bet Matrix Reports : NA Type of Role : People Manager Primary Stakeholders (Optional) : Sales & Shopper Marketing teams, Procurement, Consumer Insights, Media and Equity team. What are the Key Deliverables in this role Financial Outcomes Delivering annual business plan and growth for Tata Salt by working closely with sales /shopper team Anchor the brand health metrics by designing and executing brand plans. Track metrics such as sales volume, market share, profit projections, pricing and distribution by conducting consumer research. Plan and execute marketing initiatives - including ATL/BTL campaigns, trade and consumer activations. Pricing and profitability decisions are also driven by this role. Design/deploy right sourcing approaches and deploy cost efficient freight models in the back end. Developing long term and annual business plans for the brands. Focus state approach - plan and deliver growth and JTBD in focus states with detailed KPIs. BM role in Tata Salt also focuses on similar 5-6 states to drive focused growth. Customer Service Unlock future growth for Tata Salt by unlocking right consumer and shopper insights. Thereby, leveraging them to deliver key consumer and trade metrices and annual JTBDs. Deployment of equity/ superiority communication across media touchpoints - TV, Digital Media, Packaging Point of Sale and BTL Counterfeit action - Building Long term Action plan for countering counterfeit through education, legal action, Sales team training Internal Processes Project Management, Collaboration - Working closely with CFAs/PSO and TCL teams to manage day to day operations on Tata Salt, its artwork changes and cost efficiency projects. Work closely with Tata Chemicals and other functions such as manufacturing, sales, supply chain, legal and regulatory on packaging and product, given its correlation to branding. Closely working with brand equity to prepare strategic brand plans towards unlock penetration growth for Tata Salt. Innovation and Learning Develop the future range of Tata Salt as per the need of market and brand in coordination with innovation team.
