Department: Product Management Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Mumbai Description Calypso Technology and Axiom SL have merged to form a new company, Adenza. Product managers are home to technical experts who work together to design and build our software and product roadmap, whereas our QA team is constantly aimed at enhancing the quality of our platform delivery through test methodologies for implementations, upgrades, and migrations. Team And Role Overview Adenza is looking for an Associate Business Analyst to join our Mumbai office, who will work with Global Regulatory Risk Product Team . The Business Analyst will be expected to translate regulatory requirements for Basel capital adequacy and reporting . They will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing regulations on credit risk, FRTB, stress testing, risk model calibration, and IFRS9 ECL . The Business Analyst must show an aptitude for interpreting and summarizing large amounts of text and identifying key points. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the financial system and regulatory risk management , with a desire to learn and expand on their knowledge base. The role will be primarily internal facing, with some client interaction, and may involve occasional travel. Responsibilities Gathering relevant business requirements from regulators and translating them into solution specifications for the solution development team Liaising with the solution development team, providing business knowledge to ensure business requirements are clearly understood Monitoring and maintenance of regulatory rule changes, ensuring solution remains fit for purpose with all business requirements Providing guidance to the Quality Assurance (QA) team on scenarios to be tested, reviewing test cases and results Navigate the Axiom SL Controller View platform to understand regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions Supporting the implementation team in responding to client requests Responding to client tickets raised about legal interpretations and functionalities The role will be both internal and client-facing and may require some travel Skills And Requirements Finance-related undergraduate degree (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team in a dynamic environment Highly organized and methodical approach to work A basic understanding of key financial products and their main characteristics i.e., loan management, securities, derivatives, statistical model, etc An understanding of data analysis and data modeling concepts Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines More About Us Our Office: Adenza Mumbai is located on the 2nd floor of the Ackruti Center Point building.
