Product managers are home to technical experts who work together to design and build our software and product roadmap, whereas our QA team is constantly aimed at enhancing the quality of our platform delivery through test methodologies for implementations, upgrades, and migrations. Team And Role Overview Adenza is looking for a Business Analyst to join our Mumbai office, who will be responsible for global regulatory monitoring. The Business Analyst will be expected to translate regulatory requirements for major holdings disclosures. They will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial regulations on Substantial Holding, Short Selling, Takeover, and Sensitive Industries disclosure rules. The Business Analyst must show an aptitude for interpreting and summarizing large amounts of text and identifying key points. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the financial system and Capital Markets, with a desire to learn and expand on their knowledge base. The role will be primarily internal facing, with some client interaction, and may involve occasional travel. Responsibilities Actively monitor a set of regulators and updates across Asia Pacific jurisdictions Ensure that no regulatory update is missed that is applicable to our organisation\'s scope of offering Analyze all regulatory and financial information identified as required by our organization Create, monitor, and update JIRAs related to tasks raised by the team Work with sales/pre-sales teams to review the scope of client requests and provide feedback on coverage and potential coverage of the required scope of opportunities Update and send a weekly regulatory newsletter to internal and external stakeholders Escalate any issues or missed regulatory updates to the team lead as required Skills And Requirements Experience delivering against a planned set of tasks while being able to adapt to changing priorities as well as questions from the wider organization Strong knowledge and practical first-hand experience in regulatory reporting rules in any jurisdiction. Robust organizational skills and attention to detail Experience working as a business analyst in financial services Ability to interpret complex regulatory publications and write key requirements into JIRA system tickets Collaboration and communication aptitude necessary to work efficiently with all internal stakeholders The self-motivated attitude that allows the candidate to map out their own optimal path to achieve the goals articulated above whilst managing deadlines Bachelor\'s degree in one of the following majors desirable: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Science, Mathematics, or other aligned business and technology aligned subject matters Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Word, and MS Excel Ability to work under pressure, conduct tasks accurately, communicate and manage stakeholder expectations, and maintain a high degree of professionalism More About Us Our Office: Adenza Mumbai is located on the 2nd floor of the Ackruti Center Point building.
