Describe the function of the role and how it fits into your department?
The Business Data & Analytics Team works closely with Micron’s business functions in all aspects of data, and business intelligence building data assets and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. We are looking for individuals to be part of our agile development team. This role will work primarily with SQL Server, SSIS ETL tools and native SAP HANA development in an in-memory data warehouse environment along with reporting tools like Power-BI, Tableau etc. Team members will also be expected to explore DataOps to automate software solutions building automation, deployment, and telemetry capabilities.

As a Business Analyst, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, closely partnered with business stakeholders as part of project teams utilizing the Agile / Waterfall methodologies to deliver new capabilities and business value. You will configure, develop, maintain and support Micron applications. You will participate in new functionality estimation, analysis, design and development of application requirements by working closely with one of the Enterprise Applications (Supply Chain, Facilities, Finance, Sales, Procurement, People Solutions, Application Maintenance, Product Life Cycle and Business Data Analytics) stakeholders and other members of the team. Demonstrate the necessary functional skillset beyond Applications areas. Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Support the respective Enterprise Applications areas driving towards decisions and recommending best practices.
• Identify strategies, risks, and options, recommend approaches and mitigations to meet functional requirements.
• Closely working with Business to gather the requirements.
• Configure and test the Application Processes.
• Researching and resolving day to day Application based issues
• Work with Business teams to support the new requirements in specific application areas.
• Creating and Updating Application specific configurations based on requirement changes
• Analyze Application Updates and provide recommendations to Business
• Provide the Project Manager with status updates and keep them apprised with regular status updates.
• Work within cross-functional teams to drive successful deployments

Education:

• B.Tech./ M.Tech. – from reputed Engineering colleges
• MBA – Specialization in any of the areas (Supply chain, Human Resources, Operations, Finance, Analytics.)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous work experience is added advantage.
• Exposure to Project Methodology is added advantage.
