Job Description

About the Role:

You will be responsible for assisting in the management and maintenance of the accounts receivable function within the organization. This includes recording and processing incoming payments, generating invoices, reconciling customer accounts, and assisting with collections efforts.

What will you do:

-Assist with the preparation and issuance of accurate and timely SO & consequently invoices to customers.

-Record and process incoming payments.

-Record TDS receivables on a timely manner & quarterly reconciling with 26AS statement.

-Reconcile customer accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

-Collaborate with internal departments & customers to resolve billing issues or disputes in a timely manner.

-Assist in the collection efforts by contacting customers to follow up on outstanding payments & other related communications.

-Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and correspondence related to accounts receivable.

-Prepare periodic reports on accounts receivable status, aging analysis, and collections activities for management review.

-Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to accounts receivable processes.

What are we looking for?

Must have:

-Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

-Previous experience in accounting or finance. (preferably in CA office)

-Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

-Proficient in using accounting software/systems (e.g., Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective customer interactions.

-Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

-Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
