Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President – SAP Finance
This role seeks an expert SAP FI-CO / Finance Consultant with extensive hands on functional and technical experience in leading both medium and large SAP transformation programs in dynamic global environments in multiple capacities. The ideal candidate will have a clear and thorough understanding of all components of the SAP FI-CO / Finance, its best practices and its inter-dependencies with SAP modules or other applications, demonstrate POCs and is able to provide thought leadership to establish credibility with both the existing and prospective clients of Genpact.
Key responsibilities
Perform AS IS functional gap analysis w.r.t. SAP Finance / FI-CO best practices
Partner with Technology to identify solutions within SAP or other tools to enable end to end capabilities.
Recommend solutions & integrations with other SAP modules (such as MM, SD etc. and /or with the existing external applications) to streamline the overall process flow and deliver effort estimates for those solutions
Design Proof of Concepts, business blueprinting, perform configurations and identify customization needs as relevant
Develop Best Practices and Point of View documents
Develop related service offerings and collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate with the overall Go to Market
Identify training needs and design a training roadmap and plan Evaluate and coach on performance, develop & grow teams internally
Qualifications we seek in you!
Required Functional & Technical Qualifications/ SkillsTraining and Certification in SAP FI CO / SAP Finance
Relevant working experience in both SAP ECC 6.0 FI-CO and S4 HANA for Finance (additional FSCM experience preferred)
Extensive experience in performing AS IS functional gap analysis w.r.t. SAP best practices and business blueprinting & configuration on large (preferably global) SAP Finance / FI-CO implementation utilizing ASAP methodology
End to end working experience in Finance (FI) – AP, AR, GL, FA, Cash and Bank and CO and integrations with one or more SAP modules (PS, MM, SD) or other solutions on both cloud and on premise
Familiarity in SAP related integrations – ALE IDOCS/BDOCS/PI/Data Services/Data Intelligence
Experience in ABAP and in working closely with technical ABAP developers to develop solutions
Designing and documenting current and future state of the end-to-end process and sources of data or tools used in the process.
Experience in writing Point of View, blogs and in publishing journals / papers on SAP FI-CO / Finance Experience successfully leading design and development projects in Agile and Scrum environment Required Non-functional / Soft skills
Experienced with working in a matrix organization, similar to Genpact’s structure
Leadership experience growing/developing and mentoring team
Presentation & Storytelling skills: Demonstrated experience running a meeting or large-scale presentation with ease with senior executives

Good Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to network and create positive relationships with stakeholders (internally and externally) and build a strong expert network.
Business Acumen: Ability to drive end-to-end thinking and solutions to deliver long term benefits to our clients
Commercial Acumen: Ability to develop unique pricing/cost models, design financial strategies, transformational benefits, and negotiations of same
Ability to work with cross cultural teams – Be sensitive and aware of what is acceptable behavior across different cultures/ethnic groups/religions etc. Resourceful: Ability to build and maintain expert network structure/contacts within Genpact to resolve challenges and influence all the internal/external parties involved in executing the contract
