Job Description


Assistant Vice President - Digital Solutions Primary Responsibility Candidate with minimum of 10-15 yrs. of core experience in delivering, running and managing enterprise grade AI solutions focusing on Business Opportunities preferably with Insurance domain experience (L&A/P&C/Healthcare) Experience delivering enterprise level technology solutions with business/domain knowledge (preferably in Insurance) including DevOps knowledge Primary ongoing responsibility is for management/delivery/oversight of projects. Focuses on meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors, stakeholders, etc. May or may not have direct reports. Design Proof-Of-Concepts of the proposed technology solutions for showcasing to business/clients Responsible for Model deployment and Model monitoring during & post go-live Performance Parameters Should possess very strong leadership skills with Never Die spirit and should be a motivational player to take the team in the right direction Should be a strong influencer and a facilitator to make a strong bridge between the technology & business leadership High level of professionalism & should give impeccable attention to detail. Sense of urgency and ability to meet aggressive deadlines. Help in meeting organizational goals with good rigour, commitment to Quality and Deadlines Implement Best Practices and Process and should be document oriented professional. Should possess excellent time management skills with positive attitude Should have excellent decision-making skills to accept/reject technology solutions brought on table on the basis of key evaluation metrics. Role Responsibilities Collaborate with Data Science team, Front End Developers, DBA, DevOps etc. Should possess sound knowledge of the AI/NLP led solutions. Hyperautomation, Cloud Engineering, Native Technologies e.g., Microsoft Technology stack etc. Operating Systems - Linux and Windows Understanding of application architectures - Monolith vs Micro-services vs Server-less etc. Should have background of AI & automation and solving complex business problems to drive process & business outcomes Should be well versed with effort estimation techniques & agile methodology Document, define and review detailed business and functional requirements withworking closely with the business stakeholders Research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendation for improving Business Process Participate in Model deployment and Model monitoring, and performance testing Own the Opportunity identification process including identifying and project managing new ideas and tech opportunities Managerial Skills: Vendor management, Budgeting & control, IT Project management, procurement requests etc. Primary Internal Interactions VP EXL Digital, Senior Business Leadership Service Delivery Managers Business Innovation Team ISG Team. IT Management Team Primary External Interactions Vendors Client\'s Business Client\'s IT Team Technical Skills Adequate knowledge of Cloud Technologies (preferable AWS) especially compute, network, storage, AI/ML services Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Technologies especially Cloud Computing etc. DevOps knowledge Understanding of application architectures - Monolith vs Micro-services vs Server-less etc Hands on experience with version control application(s) (GIT) Must have a thorough working knowledge on modeling tools like UML, Visio, etc. Must be competent enough to form Use cases, Screen and Interface design. Soft Skills Must have business Process Orientation with excellent presentation skills. Must have Good Domain knowledge on one or more domains as follows: Insurance (L&A, P&C, and Healthcare) Excellent written and oral communication skills Should have Good analytical skills. Should be able to Translate and explain business requirements to project Team. Independent problem-solving, self-direction, self-motivated team leader. Should be able to work independently, with minimum supervision. A Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. Tack-sharp analytical abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Desirable Skills : Having worked in a similar job in a BPO or an IT company. Worked in an ISO 9001:2000 or CMMi certified company. Strong Project Management Skills. Willing to work across timezones to support AU, US, UK clients Good understanding of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure)
