Hybrid Working

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We\xe2\x80\x99re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.

Introduction:

The HR Operations General team supports colleagues, line managers, and other HR colleagues with transactions relating to various aspects of the colleague lifecycle, through the provision of professional and consistent service. The AVP HR Operations will work with the Service Delivery Lead to ensure that support provided by the delivery teams are within agreed SLAs with delivery of an exceptional colleague experience being at the centre of what is delivered.
What will you be doing?
The role holder will be accountable for:

  • Driving the end-to-end service delivery for the HR Operations General, partnering collaboratively with the Service Delivery Lead to ensure that any escalated issues are handled swiftly and efficiently and that any stakeholder feedback is incorporated into the service offering.
  • Effective utilisation of resources to optimise the performance, cost, risk, and resilience of the service.
  • Driving a Continuous Improvement mind-set/culture across all teams; through ongoing reviews and maintenance of the service catalogue with relevant stakeholders.
  • Driving operational excellence throughout our control environment, to mitigate risks and minimise the occurrence of risk events and issues.
  • Ensuring appropriate governance and documentation is in place and maintained to effectively manage delivery of the service, including:
o Maintaining up to date Work Instructions in support of service related activities, where relevant
o Creation and maintenance of appropriate controls, ensuring that D&A processes adhere to the ERMF at all times
  • Leading and managing the delivery team, including ensuring appropriate colleague development and succession plans are in place for all roles across the team.
  • Create an environment that encourages staff retention, high levels of staff engagement and ensures employee satisfaction shows a year on year improvement
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:
  • Experience of working in a HR Shared Services/Operational environment managing a Global service across multiple regional teams and a broad group of stakeholders
  • Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong written & verbal communication and presentation, high quality papers providing clear updates.
  • Strong problem-solving skills. Able to identify and collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders and gather, review, and interpret complex data in order to identify a proposed solution.
Skills that will help you in the role:
  • Knowledge of HR Systems like Workday, SAP, Service now etc.
  • Experience with Workforce Management tools (such as ActiveOps)
