Assistant Transport Manager
Work Dynamics
What's this job involves
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible to the Transport manager to oversee the Transport operations during the Shift, including:
Agreed fleet/manpower available at the facility all times
The on-time departure of cabs for pickups/drops
Achievement of the 98% OTA & 100% OTD shift wise
Providing support to the ops team deployed at the facility wherever required to ensure smooth transport operations
Coordinate with Transport team to understand issues and implement improvements
Increase \ decrease of the fleet as per the defined timelines
Ensure that 100% driver attendance for the weekly\monthly\quarterly driver training sessions
100% fleet availability at the time of BCP and at the time where business required additional support.
Driver BGC documentation tracking
Ensure on-time invoice submission
Be accessible for escalation of all Transport related issues
Reporting - ensure sharing of daily/weekly reports as required on Transport matters.
Implementation of Transport automation and Cost optimization.

Key skills:
Work experience as a Transport Manager or similar role
Excellent MS Office knowledge
Outstanding organizational and team, vendor and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Employee specification:
Graduate with 6 plus experience.
