We are seeking a qualified and motivated Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research, and contributing to the overall academic mission of the department.

Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Physics
• Develop and maintain course materials, including syllabi, lectures, and assignments
• Conduct research in their area of expertise and publish scholarly articles and papers
• Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students
• Participate in departmental and college committees and other service activities
• Contribute to the overall academic mission of the department and college

Qualifications:

• PhD in Physics or related field
• Demonstrated research expertise in Physics
• Excellent teaching skills and experience teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Physics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
