About the role Talent Acquisition is a part of the Talent & Culture CoE function that focuses on acquiring talents both internal and external that are a good fit to the company\'s culture and able contribute to business and people goals positively. The Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition is expected to recruit / attract desired talents (internal and external candidates) through various recruitment strategies/channels. To be successful in the role, the person should be able to identify the recruitment challenges, communicate the challenges and provide recommendations to the stakeholders effectively independently with minimal guidance from the team lead in the beginning. In addition, be an active member of talent acquisition initiatives like referral programme, campus recruitment, EVP programme, etc. As an Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will... Be managing the recruitment process end to end which include volume hiring of blue collars workers, sales positions, engineering technicians, service engineers etc. Be acting as a talent advisor/consultant to the business in relation to market trends, talent availability, competitor information etc. Be keeping an overview of our recruitment needs via regular meetings with our Hiring Managers. Be verifying job descriptions with the hiring manager and design interview questions that reflect the position\'s requirements and attract talents to the company. Be determining selection criteria for the open positions, in line with the organization\'s-culture and strategy. Be sourcing of potential candidates through different sourcing channels Be screening of potential candidates and planning interviews and assessments Be running regular updates to hiring managers. Be required to make presentations to senior management. Be organizing and leading feedback sessions and coordinate the hiring decision. Be proposing employment offers in line with the company guidelines. Be activating background check and conduct reference checks for the selected candidate. Be ensuring that the recruitment process is efficient, effective, and equitable. Be implementing South India EVP initiatives, both internally and externally Be organizing and attending job fairs and recruitment events for South India Be fostering long-term relationships with candidates Be conducting hiring manager and Brand ambassador workshops. Proficient MS Office. What you already have... At least 7+ years of experience in recruiting high volume of blue collar workers and some commercial positions. Able to perform as an individual contributor and be hands-on. Experience in managing talent acquisition for companies with engineering, construction, building materials, manufacturing etc. is highly desirable. Should have a recognized Master\'s / bachelor\'s degree Well versed in social media, resume databases and professional networks Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using interview techniques. Good interpersonal and influencing skills. Has the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
