We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Supply Chain Management
In this role, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day operations while maintaining SLAs/KPIs. Solving customer issues related to demand and supply plans. The resource will be working with a cross-functional team and will maintain, analyze, execute requests with utmost quality with an eye for details with good experience in SCM (planning). We are looking for some who should be open to working in any shift as per the business requirement.

Responsibilities

• Creation of demand forecasts and corresponding supply plans.
• Work as SME and drive meaningful conversations with clients to derive solutions.
• Demand-side activities may include:

o Align with client on the statistical baseline forecast, assumptions, outliers and exceptions.
o Solicit feedback from sales and marketing on business activities that may influence, incrementally or detrimentally, to the forecast.
o Utilize consolidated view of inputs, inclusive of lifecycle updates, risks and opportunities, and provided priorities.
o Help the team refine demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation, for multiple time horizons, as part of a demand planning function.
o Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
o Support monthly S&OP as well as weekly forecast meeting

• Supply-side activities may include:

o Maintain a consolidated view of inputs across the board.
o Maximize fulfillment according to received prioritization logic for constrained capacity
o Have a deep understanding of the optimizer used for supply planning and be able to leverage all inputs necessary to meet the demand and mitigate the shortfall
o Plan spare parts to ensure faster turnaround for repair
o Support in driving weekly supply review meetings.

• Data cleansing, structuring, modeling as required

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications/skills

• Master's degree in supply chain management, applied math or other relevant degree (required)
• Relevant experience in Supply Chain Operations or Planning (in a complex/global organization, highly preferred)
• Good understanding of supply chain data is a must have
• Good analytic skills- hands on experience working with statistical forecasting, optimization
• Good communication, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at different levels and across different teams

Preferred qualifications/skills

• Exposure to Machine Learning/AI models preferred
• Understanding of python preferred
