About Business line/Function : Treasury Funding and Liquidity Monitoring (TFLM) Team, part of Global Market Operations, plays an important role in managing the Nostro Position of the various accounts of the multiple branches in APAC Region. The Team provides accurate and timely Position forecast to ALM Desk to manage the Funding of the accounts and mobilize any excess funds. Job Title: Assistant ManagerAssociate - Treasury Liquidity Forecasting & Monitoring Date: Department: Global Markets & ALMT Operations - Treasury Liquidity Forecasting and Monitoring Location: Business Line / Function: ITO Reports to: (Direct) Grade: (if applicable) (Functional) Number of Direct Reports: Directorship / Registration: NA Position Purpose The position performs daily activities on Treasury Forecasting and Liquidity Monitoring Treasury Liquidity Forecasting and Monitoring Team works closely with operations departments and counterpart correspondent banks to ensure the prompt and accurate information regarding RTGS and Nostro position are provided to ALM Treasury properly and promptly. Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities Currencies Nostro Position Provide ALMT dealers with timely and accurate up-to-date position and investigate with operations departments on the query from ALMT. Reconcile ledger opening balance against with statement balance and identify if adjustment is required to report to ALMT. Check and follow up the identified breaks that impact forecasted position by according to report from ISPL nostro reconciliation team. Handle after cut off reporting from operations departments. Perform EOD position control to ensure the position has been squared properly by ALMT. Arrange nostro levelling between nostro accounts under same currency to ensure sufficient balance maintained in each nostro account. Reporting Prepare daily reports to ALMT and/or relevant stakeholders. General Prepare daily accounting entries posting. Participate in UAT on system implementation/enhancement project. Support other duties as assigned. Shift of work and overtime may require. Contributing Responsibilities Contribute to process improvements while abiding to control guidelines on day-to-day process. Minimizing operational failure, including but not exclusively, the risk of fraud, by helping to devise, and by implementing, sufficient regular controls. Ensuring appropriate escalation to management and/or Permanent Control (or Compliance as appropriate) as soon as an issue is identified. Contribute to the implementation of operational permanent control policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities, such as Control Plan. Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines. Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework.
