This is a new role for Dentsu Inc (Japan) and will continue to be an essential part of the Dentsu Group FP&A team. The mission for this individual is to partner with the Dentsu Inc (Japan) business along with Group FP&A team to influence strategic decisions through accurate reporting, financial planning and insightful data driven analysis Job Title: Assistant Manager - FP&A : Financial Reporting & Analysis Deliver best in class financial information and analysis to Dentsu Inc (Japan) finance team, senior management, service line leaders, business operations , providing timely, sound and clear financial analysis of current results and insights on impacts to future performance on Tableau Dashboards and dynamic Excel dashboards Summarise the Dentsu Inc (Japan) financial trends across businesses, brands and capabilities into Board level executive summaries. This will also include consolidating the financial performance of all other Regions (International Markets) to provide a consolidated results on Denstu Group Financial Dashboard Collaborate with Dentsu Inc (Japan) team on One dentsu Integration and working closely to integrate their business and financial results on systems Leading and delivering Dentsu Inc (Japan) FP&A related activities working with different stakeholders across Tokyo Work with Business to provide smooth reporting on Strategic Client Reporting Identify and pursue actionable opportunities to improve the financial and business performance of the Tokyo business. Drive P&L, Working Capital and Cash Conversion analysis across Dentsu Inc (Japan) along with insights on stock market prices and peers analysis Develop new reporting formats such as tableau / Power BI dashboard reports using the Group consolidation system data (and other operational data), to drive improved self-serve and standardised reporting. Anticipate internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues and recommend how the business should prepare. Maintain a robust FP&A control environment that adheres to the DI Group policies and embeds best practice across the business. Business Partnering Provide best in class reporting and analysis to the Dentsu Inc (Japan) Finance and Business leadership teams. This will involve working closely with Business Operations, Service Lines, HR, Operational Finance present within the Dentsu Inc (Japan). Business Partnering with Finance and Business teams in Dentsu Inc (Japan) along with Dentsu Group FP&A team Team development Be an active part of the Dentsu Inc (Japan) Finance team, focusing on developing a professional, high performing function. This will include prioritising staff development and putting in place the best structure to deliver the FP&A vision for the business.
