In your Assistant Manager - CS & Logistics, India role, you\'ll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world. It starts with YOU. Position Summary - Effectively manage customer service and logistics for North region comprising of states like Rajasthan, UP, UK, Punjab, Haryana, HP, J&K, Uttaranchal and Delhi NCR from cost, quality, and service level perspectives 1. Perform the anchor role for supply chain function for North through supplies from depots 2. Warehousing Operations a. Responsible to ensure smooth warehouse operations through third party vendors b. Drive stock, audit, process, and social compliance for the depots c. Ensure adherence to WMS processes d. Effective warehouse utilization with minimum blocked stock e. Handle effectively Mill in-house warehouse by co-ordination with factory team 3. Customer Service a. Ensure target levels of OTIF, on-time delivery and tracking b. Timely settlement of damage, expiry, and full & final claims for distributors c. Ensure appointment adherence for MT and Ecom customers d. Drive PDP and MOQ compliance e. Timely and accurate updating of PODs by vendors Cost Management Ensure cost efficiency in entire operations of warehousing and secondary transportation Drive Fuel to Grow programs and develop pipeline of projects Actively engage with customers to drive direct dispatch from Mills and central warehouse Rate benchmarking and negotiations with vendors Demand Management Collaborate effectively with GT sales team and MT and Ecom planners for improving forecast and availability in the region Monitor SLOB and drive actions to address concerns Process compliance- Ensure quarterly NDC from vendors, E-way bill and dispatch compliance, timely PR -PO process to avoid violations. Skills & Knowledge Minimum 4 to 7 years\' relevant experience in logistics and warehousing preferably in FMCG Experience in depot site selection, transition, and stabilization of operations Experience in vendor management and contracts Handled transportation negotiation and service level KPIs Basic knowledge of legal, statutory, and social compliances for warehouse and transportation operations Understanding of local vendor base with capabilities will be added advantage Knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS) with various sub-processes of picking, putaway, storage and cycle count Experience in roll-out of IT initiatives for process or cost improvement point of view in depot operations and transportation Education Graduate/Postgraduate in engineering or Supply Chain Management. Strong in MS Office (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), knowledge of SAP. Skills in Power BI will be added advantage Well-developed written and oral communication skills Ability to work with minimum supervision and drive the things by proactive co-ordination.
