The Assistant General Manager (AGM) of Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) in a senior role at Mahindra Lifespaces projects team based out of Mumbai region with 14+years of experience and a BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering will have significant responsibilities related to ensuring the quality and compliance of construction projects across multiple sites. Quality Assurance and Quality Control Management:

- Develop and implement QA/QC policies, procedures, and standards for construction projects.

- Establish and maintain quality control processes and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor quality and identify non-compliance issues.

Project Quality Planning:

- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop quality plans for each project.

- Ensure that quality goals and objectives are clearly defined and communicated to project teams.

Supplier and Subcontractor Management:

- Evaluate and select qualified suppliers and subcontractors for construction materials and services.

- Monitor the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors and take corrective actions as necessary.

Quality Testing and Inspection:

- Oversee the testing and inspection of construction materials and workmanship to verify compliance with specifications and standards.

- Ensure the proper documentation of test results and inspection reports.

Defect Identification and Resolution:

- Investigate and resolve quality issues, defects, and non-conformities promptly.

- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address recurring quality problems.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain comprehensive records of QA/QC activities, including reports, logs, and documentation of inspections and tests.

- Prepare regular reports for senior management on the status of quality control efforts.

Training and Development:

- Provide training and guidance to project teams, contractors, and construction personnel on quality standards and best practices.

- Keep abreast of industry advancements and share knowledge with the team.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and building codes.

- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and standards relevant to construction and quality control.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

- Identify potential quality-related risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

- Proactively address any issues that may affect project quality and timelines.

Continuous Improvement:

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality management system.

- Analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
