Job Description


A document controlleris responsible forthetimely,accurateand efficient preparation and management of documents. Develop and update the document control procedures and guidelines to ensure correct, consistent, and standardized processes are used within the Document Control team Identifytraining needs andprovidetraining of Document Control teamin order tohelp them improve their current skills and abilities Identifytraining needs andprovidetraining of Document Control teamin order tohelp them improve their current skills and abilities Providetraining and guidance for both the Companys and Contractors document control centersin order tocapture correct data within agreedtimeframes Review and update technical documents (manuals and workflows) Distribute project-related copies to internal teams Maintain the document controls database through input of drawing information Coordinate with Project Manager / Project Engineer and other discipline leads Review and update technical documents (e.g.manuals and workflows Distribute project-related copies to internal teamsMaintain the document controls database through input of drawing information Coordinate with Project Manager / Project Engineer and other discipline leads Receive, log, track, file, andmonitorengineering and supplier drawings in an EDMS (Electronic Data Management System) Respond to internal and external drawing and document requests. Maintaining the security of confidential documents. Assistingemployees with accessing documents through our document management system. Assistin the preparation of data books andsubsequentfiling and scanning for data book completion Generate transmittals asrequired. Respond to internal and external drawing and document requests. Assistin the turnover of drawings and documents at job completion either hard copy or electronically. Proficient typing and editing skills Must Require Excellent Communication (Read, Write and Speak) Skills. Interpersonal Skills Familiarity with project management Hands-on experience with MS Office, MS Excel, Access etc. Extensive knowledge of Electronic Documentation Management Systems (Procore & Aconex experience preferred but not essential) Knowledge of quality management systems and standards, including project-specific scope of work and operating procedures Familiarity with project management Hands-on experience with MS Office, MS Excel, Access etc. Extensive knowledge of Electronic Documentation Management Systems (Procore & Aconex experience preferred but not essential) Knowledge of quality management systems and standards, including project-specific scope of work and operating procedures Data organization skills Delivery focused and deadline oriented with the ability to deliver objectives Ready to work in Shift if require Delivery focused and deadline oriented with the ability to deliver objectivesReady to work in Shift if require Qualifications Bachelors degree in any Discipline, Library / Data Science Preferable. Must have Oil & Gas / Energy / Construction / Manufacturing / Project Management Industry experience ranging from 2-8 years
