: The Assistant Company Secretary will play a vital role in assisting the Company Secretary in various corporate and administrative functions. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized individual who is familiar with corporate governance and legal compliance. The successful candidate will have 1-5 years of relevant experience. Key Responsibilities: Assist in Corporate Governance: Support the Company Secretary in organizing and managing board meetings, preparing meeting agendas, and ensuring that board resolutions are accurately recorded and filed. Compliance Management: Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring that the company remains compliant. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents, including annual reports, statutory returns, and other compliance-related documents. Record Keeping: Maintain and update company records, registers, and corporate documentation, ensuring they are readily accessible and up-to-date. Communication: Facilitate communication between the company and its shareholders, responding to inquiries, handling shareholder meetings, and managing the communication of important corporate announcements. Legal Support: Provide support in legal matters such as contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. Assist in due diligence processes as required. Secretarial Support: Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing the Company Secretary\'s calendar. Research and Analysis: Conduct research on corporate governance best practices, regulatory changes, and industry trends. Provide analysis and recommendations to improve corporate governance procedures.
