WHAT YOU\'LL DO


This is a pivotal role in the AP People Leadership team that works closely and collaboratively with senior stakeholders locally, regionally and globally to shape and drive strategic agendas for BST HR and HR operations globally and across AP. You will lead AP\xe2\x80\x99s regional network in both areas and be relentless in your collaborative pursuit of outstanding BST HR practices and HR operational excellence.

In this senior leadership role you will have responsibility for ensuring Asia Pacific systems and region have the BST structures, roles and capabilities to support the firm\xe2\x80\x99s strategic direction and rapid growth. You will support BCG\xe2\x80\x99s transformation efforts in AP including around Climate & Sustainability, AI and Digital, teaming closely with the specialty business and other units to shape appropriate BST operating models and ensure they work collaboratively and effectively.

You will be responsible for driving HR operational excellence across the region. This includes raising the bar on the People-related risk management including workplace behaviour management and policy/procedure management. You will operate as AP\xe2\x80\x99s centre-of-excellence (COE) in these areas.

You will help drive a strong EVP for AP and for BCG to ensure we attract and retain the outstanding BST talent needed for the future. This will require you to work closely with global counterparts to shape global agendas and ensure solutions around compensation, career frameworks, titles, etc work in the AP context.

You will have responsibility for CT and BST People analytics as well as direct operational responsibility for a growing regional team of CS/MSS located in offices across AP. This includes the full cycle from hire to retire, ensuring best in class HR practices to source, grow and develop talent as well as looking for creative ways to drive efficiencies as we scale.

Strategic BST Function Design & Business Partnering (40%) - Shape and drive strategic change relating to BST practices and processes and ensure appropriate operating models/roles/resources .

  • Leverage your strong collaboration and influencing skills to drive change across AP in line with global and regional objectives and priorities including change around BST operating models, compensation, career frameworks, titles, L&D, etc
  • Collaborate with local systems to ensure BST operating models, roles and resources align to support our changing business including our global transformation efforts
  • Collaborate with local systems to drive best in class BST HR and HR operations policies and processes
  • Become embedded in local systems and drawn in as an advisor on key issues, acting as a coach/COE on topics that cut across all BST
  • In collaboration with AP People Team Leadership, develop strategic recommendations based on analysis and insight
  • Shape analyses to understand the People side of our business, both BST and CT including People Survey analysis, BST resource benchmarking, recruitment/attrition insight, etc.

AP BST HR Operations (30%) \xe2\x80\x93 Drive excellence in AP\xe2\x80\x99s BST HR Operations teams and ensure alignment of BST HR processes

  • Proactively develop innovative solutions for seamless integration of HR Operations across systems in support of hosted roles and ABMs
  • Identify opportunities and process improvements and work collaboratively with local systems to drive change
  • Ensure appropriate risk management policies and procedures in place and prompt action in case of identified gaps
  • Champion highest standards of data integrity and compliance with GDPR across AP
  • Support local systems to maintain/develop minimum standard policies/processes/procedures around workplace behaviour management/governance and ensure the BST owners in each system are equipped for high quality issue management

Asia Pacific Regional Office (20%) \xe2\x80\x93 Manage the HR function for a regional team of approximately 50 CS/MSS and growing, located across various AP offices

  • Facilitate recruiting for regional roles by collaborating with local HR teams to source and onboard talent. Drive a more efficient and effective regional recruiting function as we scale.
  • Own talent development of regional team \xe2\x80\x93 this includes running an annual performance review process, identifying and actioning specific L&D needs
  • Oversee annual compensation analysis to drive strategic talent reward/recognition decisions
  • Ensure continuous improvement in EVP for our regional team \xe2\x80\x93 drawing insights from our annual PEOPLE survey and having a pulse on key issues in the local systems
  • Guide and advise APRO Directors on team/performance management

AP BST HR & HR analytics network leadership (10%) \xe2\x80\x93 Set and lead a strategic agenda for the AP BST HR network

  • Cascade and drive global change initiatives and projects \xe2\x80\x93 providing a voice for AP in shaping global initiatives as well as working with local systems to ensure effective rollout and embedding change
  • Set agenda and facilitate engagement with regular network touchpoints, including an annual event to bring all AP systems together on key operational and strategic topics
  • Responsible for driving CT and BST analytics to understand our underlying business mechanics and lift out key insights for decision making.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)


  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in HR and/or consulting industry
  • Demonstrated HR experience with an understanding of professional services
  • Project and change management experience
  • Strong computer and digital working skills e.g. Excel, PPT, Slack, Trello
  • Relevant educational qualifications such as an HR degree or MBA
